Organized by the Association of Excellence Promotion Centers, experts from ANECA and UNIBASQ have given to Ficosterra the prestigious Quality Innovation Award (QIA). This international recognition highlights innovative projects with significant impact on sustainability and quality. This achievement reaffirms Ficosterra’s commitment to innovation and its leadership in developing biotechnological solutions for agriculture.
The Quality Innovation Award is an international competition that rewards innovative projects from companies and organizations, providing them with national and international recognition as well as an independent, external, and highly qualified evaluation.
The awards were created by Laatukeskus Excellence Finland, a Finnish nonprofit organization aimed at supporting business growth.
Launched in Finland in 2007, these awards have gradually expanded to include countries such as Israel, Hungary, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Russia, Sweden, China, Thailand, Botswana, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe. Spain joined the competition in 2015 through the Excellence Centers.
These distinctions globally recognize the most innovative initiatives across various sectors, evaluating aspects such as:
- Originality and creativity of the project
- Potential to address global challenges
- Contribution to sustainability and social development
The project presented by Ficosterra revolves around its Biological Crop Booster (BCB) technology, an advanced solution based on microbial complexes that act as soil regenerators, enhancing its quality, optimizing crop productivity, and reducing the use of chemical inputs.
Regenerative microorganisms break down organic matter and release essential nutrients.
By reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers, it minimizes environmental impact.
Promotes root growth, strengthens plants, and improves the quality and quantity of production.
This award not only celebrates Ficosterra’s continuous efforts to innovate but also positions the company as a benchmark in sustainable and regenerative agriculture
