OUR PROJECTS
Ficosterra has participated in several biotechnological research projects, either individually or in collaboration with other research centers. The challenge driving these works has always been to value the contribution of marine algae to agriculture, something documented since Roman times.
At Ficosterra, we want to recover these ancient practices and equip them with new technologies that contribute to recovering more resilient and environmentally friendly agriculture, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals pursued by the UN’s 2030 Agenda.
