Javier Fuentes, a Forest Engineer specialized in Turf Management from the University of Georgia and Head Greenkeeper at Palomarejos Golf since 2005, has shared his experience using ficosturf® on the greens of this renowned golf course located in Talavera de la Reina (Toledo, Spain).
With over a decade of experience, Javier has explored various microorganism-based solutions to include in his annual maintenance plans. However, he only discovered the innovative technology of our bio-stimulant ficosturf® in April 2028, when his colleague Pedro Flores, Head Greenkeeper at El Cortijo Golf Club, introduced him to its features and the benefits achievable by applying it directly to the greens.
“The speed and ease of applying this product to the greens at Palomarejos have been key factors in choosing it,” says Javier Fuentes. Although they are still awaiting the completion of the plant’s annual physiological cycle to obtain full results, the partial data so far are highly satisfactory.
Regenerative treatments strengthen roots and improve the turf’s resistance to stress factors such as droughts or heavy traffic.
