Emprendedor XXI Awards:
A benchmark for start-ups in Spain and Portugal
Created in 2007, these awards are considered one of the most important recognitions for start-ups in Spain and Portugal. In addition to a financial grant, CaixaBank offers award-winning companies a support program for internationalization, providing access to contact networks and growth opportunities in international markets.
This edition saw the participation of 962 companies from Spain and Portugal. CaixaBank presents 19 awards to companies with the greatest impact in their respective regions: 17 in Spain and 2 in Portugal. In the case of Castilla y León, Ficosterra’s business project was selected among five finalists: Aquacorp, Fundeen, Hilo Verde Innovación, and Limmat Group.

Next challenge:
Agro Tech sector award
On May 14, the award for the best companies in each sector will be announced, selected from all applications received in Spain and Portugal. Six sectors have been defined, linked to new trends in innovation and the business areas of BPI and CaixaBank, including the Agro Tech category, for which Ficosterra has also submitted its application.
A boost for
sustainable innovation
This recognition not only validates Ficosterra’s effort and vision in the field of sustainable agricultural technology, but also strengthens its position as a benchmark in soil regeneration and optimization of agricultural yields through the use of seaweed and microorganisms.

Receiving these awards motivates Ficosterra to continue developing innovative solutions that contribute to more efficient and environmentally friendly agriculture.
