Trial <\/strong>characteristics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The trial, initiated on September 22, 2017<\/strong>, was conducted in Moguer (Huelva)<\/strong> with the San Andreas strawberry variety<\/strong>. Three plots were compared: one 1.3-hectare plot treated with Ficosagro\u00ae bio-stimulant<\/strong>, versus two control plots that received conventional fertilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All subplots had identical surface areas, consisting of 30 tunnels with six ridges per tunnel. The study focused on measuring four main aspects:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

1. Vegetative and productive development<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

From the early weeks, the plot treated with Ficosagro\u00ae biofertilizer<\/strong> exhibited superior vegetative and productive development<\/strong> compared to the control plot. This growth was especially evident during the initial months of the trial when the economic value of production is traditionally much higher.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Stabilization phase<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Starting in December, the growth of the treated plot began to stabilize and align with that of the control plot. This stabilization coincided with the onset of lower temperatures, which tend to reduce the efficiency of the microorganisms in the biofertilizer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Economic profitability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The cost-to-yield ratio<\/strong> exceeded 10%<\/strong>, demonstrating the high profitability<\/strong> of applying Ficosagro\u00ae<\/strong><\/a> in strawberry cultivation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
